Shooting in downtown St. Louis leaves one dead, at least five injured, police say

A man in his 20s was killed and five others were injured in an early morning shooting in downtown St. Louis, Missouri, police said Sunday.

In a social media postThe St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department said officers responded to the scene of a shooting around 2:30 a.m. PT.

An initial investigation revealed that a fight broke out between women, police said. At one point, men intervened and guns were drawn, police said on social media. At least one gun was found at the scene, but it was too early to know if it was involved in the shooting.
