Widow loses UK consumer law appeal following Hong Kong award

The Court of Appeal in London has upheld the enforcement of a Hong Kong arbitration award that found the widow of a Chinese businessman liable under a personal guarantee, rejecting arguments that she was protected under UK consumer law.
