Hunter Biden found guilty in federal gun case

Hunter Biden was found guilty on all counts in his federal gun trial.

The president’s son was charged with illegally purchasing and possessing a firearm while addicted to drugs in 2018. He faces up to 25 years in prison.

According to the Department of Justice, sentences are generally shorter than the maximum, especially for a first-time offender.

This is the first time that the child of the sitting president has been tried.

President Biden has previously said he would not pardon his son if he was found guilty.

The jury deliberated for a total of three hours and no sentencing date was set. The trial came after a plea deal fell apart last year and Biden opted to go to trial.
