Armed robbers target victim in DC Alley

Washington, D.C. — Authorities are asking for the public’s help in identifying suspects involved in an armed robbery in Northwest D.C. that occurred early Saturday morning.

At approximately 6:13 a.m., a victim reported being approached by a vehicle while in the driveway in the 600 block of Irving Street. Several suspects exited the vehicle, pointed firearms at the victim and stole property before fleeing in the vehicle.

A nearby surveillance camera captured the suspects.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police at (202) 727-9099 or text information to 50411. A reward of up to $10,000 is available for information leading to an arrest and a conviction.

  • Baltimore man injured in early morning shooting

    Baltimore, Maryland — Early Tuesday morning, Southern District patrol officers were alerted to the presence of a walk-in gunshot victim at a local hospital.

    Officers arrived at the hospital around 3:46 a.m. and found a 40-year-old man with a non-life threatening gunshot wound.

    Investigators have not yet determined the location of the shooting.

  • Drunk driving blamed for two serious weekend crashes in Clarkstown

    Clarkstown, NY – The Clarkstown Police Department responded to two drunk driving incidents in the early hours of Sunday.

    The first incident occurred shortly after midnight on Route 59 in West Nyack, where a 46-year-old Tarrytown man failed to stop, resulting in a two-car crash with injuries. The driver was arrested for driving while intoxicated and was processed at CPD with the next court date set at Clarkstown Court.

    Shortly before 4 a.m., officers were called to Germonds Road. in New City where they found an overturned vehicle.

    The 22-year-old Spring Valley man, the sole occupant, was found to be driving while intoxicated. He was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment and then released with a future court appearance in Clarkstown.
