Michelle Troconis’ lawyer requests her release on bail pending appeal

Michelle Troconis’ lawyer asked the appeals court Monday to release her on bail while an appeal is pending.

Attorney Jon Schoenhorn plans to appeal the verdict and says there were two dozen problems with the trial

Troconis was sentenced to 14 1/2 years in prison for the disappearance and presumed death of Jennifer Dulos.

She was found guilty of all charges, including conspiracy to commit murder.

Schoenhorn requested an appeal bond during his sentencing hearing, but the judge refused.

In Schoenborn’s filing, he states that Troconis does not pose a flight risk or danger to the community and that she has complied with all conditions of release since her first arrest in 2019.
