Mississippi Restaurant Manager Arrested on Child Exploitation Charges

A Mississippi restaurant manager is behind bars after being accused of inappropriately communicating with a child via text message.

Authorities with the Attala County Sheriff’s Office arrested Alejandro Hernandez. He was charged with two counts of child exploitation.

The manager of Bel Piatto in Kosciusko, Hernandez, was arrested Wednesday morning after a month-long investigation.

Authorities opened an investigation after a woman came forward and accused Hernandez of inappropriately communicating with her child via text message.

Hernandez was held at the Leake County Correctional Facility awaiting a bail hearing.

The investigation is ongoing.
