ALF Child Star Benji Gregory Dies at 46

Benji Gregory died on June 13 at his home.

Benji Gregory, widely acclaimed for his performance in ALFdied at the age of 46.

According to TMZThe late actor was found dead in the parking lot of a Chase Bank in Peoria, Arizona, on June 13.

Gregory’s relatives believe he died of heatstroke in his car, as he had gone to the bank to deposit checks the day before and had fallen asleep in his car.

However, the Maricopa County Examiner’s Office said the cause of his death is still pending, according to ABC7 Los Angeles.

In addition to Gregory, his service dog, Hans, was also found dead in the car as temperatures soared to 109 degrees on June 12 at the location where the two departed souls were traveling.

The deceased’s older sister, Rebecca Hertzberg-Pfaffinger, said TMZ that the former child star suffered from depression, bipolar disorder and a sleep disorder that kept him awake for days.

Additionally, Gregory was best known for playing Brian Tanner in ALFHe showcased his acting skills by portraying the title character in 101 drama episodes, which stands for Alien Life Form, from 1986 to 1990.
