Probation officer found guns, illegal drugs in home of two convicted felons, police say

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – The Memphis Police Department has arrested and charged two convicted felons after illegal drugs and weapons were discovered inside their home during a probation check.

On Tuesday, July 9, 2024, at 11:20 a.m., a parole officer was conducting a home visit and, along with other officers, subsequently executed a search warrant at the home.

The two suspects, Actiavious Cobb, 29, and Zachery Phillips, 19, were in the home during the search.

Officers discovered three assault rifles, four handguns and marijuana.

Three of the weapons were later identified as stolen.

An AOB charm necklace referencing the gang All off the blade was also found during the search.

Cobb was arrested and is now charged with being a convicted felon for possession of a handgun, theft of property and possession of marijuana.

Phillips is charged with possession of a firearm, possession of marijuana and theft of property.
