4 teens arrested after vehicle stolen from gas station

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – Four teenagers involved in a gas station robbery were arrested Monday.

Memphis police responded to the robbery at the Marathon gas station, 2785 Park Avenue, shortly after 7:30 p.m.

Officers were told the victim was returning to his parked car when an armed man approached him and demanded his vehicle.

A second suspect then approached and the victim complied and both suspects left in the victim’s vehicle.

Officers found the stolen car at the corner of Airways and Park Avenues.

As they approached the vehicle, the suspects drove away and police began to pursue them.

The vehicle quickly hit a curb on Kimball Avenue, near Labelle Street.

Christopher Paige, 18, was charged with aggravated robbery, evading arrest by vehicle, evading arrest on foot and reckless driving.

A 17-year-old boy has been charged with aggravated robbery and evading arrest on foot.

A 16-year-old girl has been charged with aggravated robbery and escape on foot.

A 14-year-old girl has been charged with aggravated robbery and escape on foot.

Paige is due in court on July 10.
