Jesse is honored in the NightMoves Hall of Fame, the XRCO Hall of Fame, and the AVN Hall of Fame.

She married Rich Taylor in 2005, and they have a son together, although his identity has remained secret. She became an international star thanks to her role in Pirates, the first adult film to receive an R rating and break into the mainstream.

In 2006, she told IGN: “It means a lot to me because I’m trying to reach people – I have columns, I’m a sex editor – to reach women. Women are often the ones who are afraid of their sexuality, they don’t know what to do, or they don’t know if it’s acceptable, so this will be an outlet for something bigger and I’ll have a lot more fans and people that I can reach.”

She also spoke about the film’s ambitions: “I knew we were going to push the envelope on the mainstream adaptation of the film and push to get the R version and get it into Blockbuster. I didn’t really think that would ever happen.”

She went on to reveal her surprise at the final cut of the film: “It had been in the works for a while, and I didn’t know about it, so I thought it wasn’t going to work. I actually watched the R-rated version, and it was really good, but seeing how the sex scenes were cut, it was funny to me.”

In conclusion, she said: “It was funny, but it was cool, and it was a real movie and I still wanted to watch it. Honestly, I think even if it’s an adult movie with no sex, I would still like to watch it.”
