FAIR OAKS – Two people have been arrested after a reported armed robbery on the Del Campo High School campus Tuesday.

The incident occurred during summer school hours, the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office said, prompting Del Campo High School and Will Rodgers Middle School to shelter in place for a period of time.

Officers said they arrested two people after receiving a report of a possible attempted robbery at gunpoint. Two others may be at large, the sheriff’s office said.

No weapons have been found so far. Police have been combing the campuses.

It is unclear whether the incident involved students at the school or occurred on campus. No details on those arrested have yet been released.
