Papa John’s Armed Robbery Suspect Still at Large, DC Police Ask for Public’s Help

The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) is seeking the public’s assistance in helping to identify an armed robbery suspect.

On Monday, July 8, at approximately 9:42 p.m., the suspect entered a Papa John’s pizzeria located at 5700 Georgia Avenue NW.

The suspect (pictured below on security video) pointed a gun at an employee demanding money, but the employee fled the restaurant and called 911. The suspect left the scene empty-handed.

The MPD is offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect.
