Podgorica police arrested SA (41) and JT (28) on suspicion of illegal possession of weapons, the Police Administration (UP) announced.

As reported by the police, acting on the basis of a citizen’s report that a person was shooting projectiles into the air from a vehicle that was moving from Podgorica to Zeta, the police officers located and stopped a vehicle with a Budva license plate, in which three people were at that time.

“During the arrest, the person sitting in the passenger seat threw a firearm – a CZ pistol, the frame of which did not contain any ammunition. After identifying the person, the police officers determined that the vehicle was driven by SA (41 years old), while in the passenger seat was JT (28 years old) from Podgorica. By order of the prosecutor, SA and JT were deprived of their liberty and a criminal complaint was filed against them on suspicion of illegal possession and carrying of weapons and explosives,” the statement reads.
