The NYPD is asking for the public’s help in identifying the man seen in this photo who they say is wanted for questioning in connection with a pattern of robberies identified throughout June 2024 in Fordham Manor and University Heights.

The NYPD is asking for the public’s help in identifying the man seen in the attached photos who it says is wanted for questioning in connection with a series of robberies that were identified throughout the month of June in Fordham Manor and University Heights.

Police said the first incident occurred around 12:30 a.m. on Wednesday, June 5, when a 27-year-old man was approached by an unidentified man near the Grand Concourse and East 192nd Street in Fordham Manor. According to police, the suspect stabbed the victim in the arm with a knife and stole his wallet and cell phone before fleeing on foot in an unknown direction. “The victim traveled privately to Bronx Lebanon Hospital and is in stable condition,” a police spokesperson said.

Police said the second incident occurred on Wednesday, June 5, around 1:15 p.m., when a 52-year-old man was approached by an unidentified man outside 71 East Kingsbridge Road in Fordham Manor. According to police, the suspect punched the victim in the face and stole his wallet and cell phone before fleeing on foot in an unknown direction. “The victim declined medical attention,” a police spokesperson said.

Police said the third incident occurred on Wednesday, June 5, around 3:10 p.m., when a 37-year-old woman was approached by an unidentified man outside 84 West Fordham Road in University Heights. Police say the suspect faked a firearm and stole the victim’s wallet and cellphone before fleeing on foot in an unknown direction. “No injuries were reported,” a police spokesperson said.

Police said a fourth incident occurred on Friday, June 21, around 3:30 p.m., when a 25-year-old man was approached by an unidentified man near Davidson Avenue and West 192nd Street in Fordham Manor. They said the suspect brandished a knife and stole the victim’s wallet and cellphone before fleeing on foot in an unknown direction. “No injuries were reported,” a police spokesperson said.
