Johnny Depp Gave Marilyn Manson a Pill to ‘Stop Talking’

Johnny Depp has admitted that he once gave his friend Marilyn Manson a pill to “stop talking so much.”

The actor spoke about his drug use during his defamation trial against his ex-wife Amber Heard.

During Depp’s cross-examination by Heard’s lawyer, the Pirates of the Caribbean The star was questioned about her history of alcoholism and drug use with the controversial rock star who has been accused of rape.

Depp said: “We drank together, we did cocaine together maybe two or three times. I once gave Marilyn Manson a pill to stop him talking so much.”

Asked about his drug use and the photo of a box believed to contain cocaine, Depp said: “I can’t say I carried cocaine in it… but it looks like it may contain cocaine.”

During the trial, Depp also admitted to using drugs with his friend Paul Bettany.

Depp sues Heard for defamation over article in Aquaman Star wrote for the Washington Post about surviving domestic violence.

Although the article in question does not name Depp as her abuser, her lawyers have argued that the article falsely implies that Depp physically and sexually abused Heard during the marriage.

Heard also filed a counterclaim, alleging he launched a smear campaign against her.

As the trial continues, Elon Musk and James Franco are expected to testify on Heard’s behalf. Depp has accused both men of having an affair with his ex-wife.
