MADISON, WI (WTAQ-WRN) — Supporters of a failed attempt to recall Assembly Speaker Robin Vos are appealing the decision to block the recall.

Wisconsin’s bipartisan election commission ruled last week that about 190 signatures filed in the recall process were collected after the usual deadline for a petition.

The commission had given the group behind the revocation two extra days because of Memorial Day to file its petitions, but not to assemble them.

The group, led by Donald Trump supporters, says the decision is illogical and is asking a Dane County judge to rule.
