Frankford man arrested for shoplifting

FELTON – At 11:32 a.m. on July 5, the Felton Police Department was dispatched to the 11000 block of South DuPont Highway, Felton Royal Farms, for a report of shoplifting.

On that day, a white male entered the Royal Farms store and removed consumer goods from the store through all the outlets without paying. Video surveillance of the suspect was obtained by Royal Farms.

Prior to the shoplifting at Royal Farms, the defendant stole a motor vehicle in Dover, which was used to flee in the southbound lane of Route 13.

Through investigative efforts, the suspect was formally identified as Thomas Joesph Pusey, 42, of Frankford.

He was arrested at a Frankford residence by Delaware State Police on numerous criminal charges and remanded to Sussex Correctional Institute.

The defendant was arrested by the Felton Police Department and charged with Shoplifting Under $1,500 (Class A Misdemeanor). He was arraigned in Magistrate Court and issued a restraining order.

He remains in the SCI because of his other criminal charges.
